Challenges

The two main challenges for this project were the resource limitations of the ESP32 microcontroller and the need to create an efficient and responsive graphical interface. An operating system was required that could handle multiple tasks and events while maintaining optimal performance in a limited hardware environment.

Technical decisions

The decision was made to use the LVGL library for the development of the graphical interface, due to its efficiency and flexibility in embedded environments. Additionally, a modular approach was taken in the design of the operating system, allowing for the addition of new features without compromising the overall performance of the system.
